Levoit Vital 100S-P vs Winix 5530

The Levoit Vital 100S-P, for its lower price, higher owner rating and a fuller smart home integrations list that includes Home Assistant. The Winix 5530 still has the stronger raw filtration and CADR in its favor, so a very large room can tip the choice toward it.

Coverage versus integrations. The Winix 5530 is AHAM Verifide for 392 sq ft at 253 CFM, nearly double the Levoit Vital 100S-P's 222 sq ft and 143 CFM, while the Levoit connects to more smart home platforms with Home Assistant support the Winix does not clearly offer.

It shares the same filtration stack and AHAM Verifide numbers as its Winix siblings but runs quieter and draws less power, at 45 W against 65 W on the 5510 and 50 W on the 5520. Against the Levoit Vital 100S-P, all three Winix models trade a lower price and simpler integrations for a bigger CADR.

It is not confirmed. The Levoit Vital 100S-P has a documented Home Assistant integration through VeSync, while the Winix 5530's Home Assistant support and Google Home compatibility were not established at the time of writing, unlike the Alexa connection, which both purifiers offer.

Buyers with a bedroom or medium room who want the lower price, the higher owner rating and the widest confirmed smart home integrations, including Home Assistant. It is not sized for a large open room.

Buyers with a large room who need the higher AHAM Verifide CADR and coverage, and who are comfortable running the purifier mainly through the Winix Smart app and Alexa rather than a deeper smart home setup. It is also the quietest and most efficient of the Winix models here.
