Founded in 2013 as the consumer brand of Hikvision, it has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2022 and runs its own EZVIZ app and cloud platform. Its cameras record to a microSD card or the optional CloudPlay subscription, and support voice-enabled live viewing through Alexa and Google Assistant.
