Chamberlain is the consumer brand of Chamberlain Group, an Illinois company founded in 1954 and the largest maker of residential garage door openers in the United States, alongside its professional LiftMaster line. Its myQ platform adds Wi-Fi control, activity history and scheduled closing to garage openers, and has since expanded into smart video doorbells and cameras. Devices are managed in the myQ app and integrate with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and in-car and delivery services.

Yale is one of the oldest lock brands in the world and today part of Assa Abloy, with its North American smart lock business run by Fortune Brands Innovations. Its residential smart range centres on the Assure Lock 2 family, sold as keypad or touchscreen deadbolts in wired and key-free versions, plus the Approach and Linus lines. Connectivity is modular: the same lock body accepts Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, Matter or Apple Home Key modules, and everything is managed through the Yale Access app.
