Devices pair with the Qingping+ app and, depending on model, with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Mi Home.

Its DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system is the most established in the category, covering Btrfs snapshots, cloud sync, and a Surveillance Station package that turns a NAS into a local network video recorder for IP cameras.
