The Aeotec Z-Stick 10 Pro is the Z-Wave Series 800 controller that also coordinates Zigbee, not as a router, with +20 dBm of transmit power, no Thread radio and no external antenna. What the differences mean
Z-Wave versus Thread
The Aeotec Z-Stick 10 Pro controls Z-Wave Series 800 and coordinates Zigbee 3.0. It does not route Zigbee and it does not border Thread. The Sonoff Dongle Lite MG21 coordinates Zigbee, routes Zigbee and borders Thread, and it is not a Z-Wave controller. The extra protocol is the purchase. The shared piece is only Zigbee coordination.
Antenna
The Sonoff Dongle Lite MG21 has one external antenna at 2 dBi and publishes +20 dBm of transmit power, in an 8.8 g stick that is 133 mm long. The Aeotec Z-Stick 10 Pro publishes the same +20 dBm of transmit power and lists no external antenna in a 3.5 g body.
Zigbee router role
The Sonoff Dongle Lite MG21 can be a Zigbee router as well as the coordinator, so it can also extend a mesh. The Aeotec Z-Stick 10 Pro coordinates Zigbee and is not a router. If this dongle's job is to repeat for an existing coordinator, the Sonoff is the one whose spec says yes.
