Smlight SLZB-06 vs Smlight SLZB-MRW10

The Smlight SLZB-MRW10 is the stronger multi-protocol choice: it adds a Z-Wave 800 controller and dual-network support on top of the same network-connected Zigbee coordinator. The Smlight SLZB-06 is Zigbee only, so it wins on price for a Zigbee-only setup but cannot cover Z-Wave devices.

Protocol coverage. The SLZB-MRW10 combines a Zigbee 3.0 coordinator with a Z-Wave Series 800 controller and can run dual networks, while the SLZB-06 is a Zigbee-only coordinator with no Z-Wave and no dual-network. Both share Ethernet, PoE, Wi-Fi, Thread border router and Bluetooth proxy features.

Only the Smlight SLZB-MRW10. Its Z-Wave Series 800 chip lets it control Z-Wave locks, sensors and switches alongside Zigbee, so it can replace two separate sticks. The Smlight SLZB-06 has no Z-Wave radio and would need a second controller for Z-Wave gear.

Buy the Smlight SLZB-MRW10 if you run both Zigbee and Z-Wave (or plan to) and want a single network-placed coordinator that also does dual-network, Thread and Bluetooth proxy over Ethernet or PoE. It consolidates two radios into one central unit.

Buy the Smlight SLZB-06 if your smart home is Zigbee only and you want the more affordable, well-proven network coordinator. You still get Ethernet, PoE, Wi-Fi, Thread and Bluetooth proxy, just without Z-Wave or dual-network.
