Two rungs of Nuki's retrofit lineup, and the Nuki Smart Lock Pro is the one to buy, with a rechargeable battery and a slimmer body in place of the Go's four AA cells.
On paper the two smart locks are otherwise the same product: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Matter over Thread, support for Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings and Home Assistant, auto-lock after the door closes, geolocation auto-unlock, a two-year warranty and the same optional keypads for codes and fingerprints. What separates them is the power pack and the housing, 250 g against 335 g and a choice of colours on the Pro, remote access that comes included on the Pro but is a one-time purchase on the Go, plus owner reviews that favour the Pro. The Nuki Smart Lock Go still makes sense for a renter who prefers swapping AA batteries to charging a lock, and who wants the lower priced way into the Nuki app.
