Nuki's two premium retrofit locks share almost every line of the spec sheet, and the Nuki Smart Lock Ultra edges ahead as the better reviewed and slightly more compact of the pair.
Both have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Matter over Thread, work with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings and Home Assistant, run on a built-in rechargeable battery rated for about 6 months, lock after the door closes, unlock by geolocation, come in several colours and carry a two-year warranty. On paper the one difference is size, 57 x 58 mm for the Ultra against 57 x 70 mm for the Pro at the same 250 g, and in practice it is how owners describe them: the Ultra as the fastest, most refined Nuki yet. The Nuki Smart Lock Pro is the lower priced way to the same features. Choose the Nuki Smart Lock Ultra if you want Nuki's flagship, and the Nuki Smart Lock Pro if you would rather keep the difference in your pocket.
