2026 verdict
Shelly Pro EM-50 wins the 2026 matchup against Emporia Vue Utility Connect, mainly on warranty, breaker panel install, and connectivity.
The comparison tilts its way because of warranty, breaker panel install, and connectivity, with integrations and local control keeping it in front. Emporia Vue Utility Connect still makes sense if price, metering, and smart meter port are your priority, but most buyers should still lean toward Shelly Pro EM-50. For the average buyer, Shelly Pro EM-50 is the safer choice.
