The EM Gen3 is the cheapest serious way to meter something and act on it. Two current channels, one 50 A clamp in the box and bi-directional measurement cover a single-phase supply or a pair of appliances, and the dry contact relay drives a contactor so the meter can cut the load it measures. Everything is available locally through RPC, MQTT and an embedded web interface, with ten days of minute data kept on the device. The limits are equally clear: single-phase only, no branch-circuit fleet of clamps, and no split-phase or three-phase support.
