What the differences mean

Lights or cameras

The Philips Hue Bridge coordinates Zigbee lights, up to about 50 devices, and unlocks zones, scenes and Hue Sync. The TP-Link Tapo H500 is built for Tapo cameras and doorbells, up to 16 of them, plus up to 64 Tapo Sub-G sensors, and the spec lists 80 sub-devices. It does not run a Zigbee network, so Hue bulbs do not join it.
