What the differences mean
Ethernet and wireless
The Beelink GTi15 Ultra (64GB + 1TB) has two 10G Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The Geekom A8 (Ryzen 7 16GB + 1TB) has one 2.5G port, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. On a gigabit home switch the extra speed sits idle. On a 10G NAS, or a network that wants two fast links, only the Beelink can use them.
Memory
Both use DDR5-5600. The Beelink GTi15 Ultra (64GB + 1TB) has 64 GB fitted and can take 128 GB. The Geekom A8 (Ryzen 7 16GB + 1TB) has 16 GB fitted and can take 64 GB. The A8's channel layout is not published. The Beelink is listed as dual-channel. For virtual machines, the Beelink is already at the amount the Geekom cannot reach.
Power, sound and security
The Beelink GTi15 Ultra (64GB + 1TB) has an internal 145 W supply, speakers, a microphone, a fingerprint sensor and an SD 4.0 reader, and it has no Kensington lock. The Geekom A8 (Ryzen 7 16GB + 1TB) uses an external 120 W adapter, has no speakers or microphone, and it does have a Kensington lock, an SD reader and a VESA mount. The Beelink does not include a VESA mount.
Expansion and graphics
The Beelink GTi15 Ultra (64GB + 1TB) has a PCIe 5.0 x8 path to a desktop GPU through a separate dock, Arc 140T graphics, an NPU and two M.2 slots around its 1 TB SSD. The Geekom A8 (Ryzen 7 16GB + 1TB) has Radeon 780M graphics, one USB4 port and only one M.2 slot, so adding storage means replacing the 1 TB drive. Neither USB4 port is Thunderbolt certified. The A8 can feed up to four displays. The Beelink has one HDMI port and one DisplayPort.
