2026 verdict
For a home lab that wants modern memory and an NPU, the Geekom A9 Max (HX 370) is the mini PC to pick over the Geekom A5 Pro 2026 Edition (16GB + 1TB).
The Geekom A9 Max (HX 370) brings a twelve-core Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, a 50 TOPS NPU, 32GB of DDR5-5600 that reaches 128GB, dual 2.5G Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and two USB4 ports. The Geekom A5 Pro 2026 Edition (16GB + 1TB) is the cheaper machine, with a six-core Ryzen 5 7530U, 16GB of DDR4, four display outputs and an SD reader.
