2026 verdict
Warranty, storage and the number of screens all lean one way here: the Geekom A5 Pro 2026 Edition (16GB + 1TB) is the more flexible mini PC of the pair.
It wins on price, on its three-year warranty and on its 1TB drive, and it drives four displays from two HDMI and two USB-C outputs while staying upgradeable to 64GB of RAM. The Apple Mac Mini (M2 Pro 16GB + 512GB) wins on owner rating and on faster unified memory, and it is the pick for macOS and Thunderbolt. Choose the A5 Pro for a value Windows desk with many monitors, and the Mac Mini for Apple work.

Memory upgrade path
The Geekom A5 Pro 2026 Edition takes DDR4 SODIMM modules up to 64GB, so memory can be added later. The Apple Mac Mini's 16GB of unified LPDDR5 is part of the chip package and soldered, so the configuration you buy is the one you keep.
