2026 verdict
Warranty and storage push the Geekom GT1 Mega Ultra 9 ahead of the GMKtec NucBox M7 Ultra (32GB + 512GB) here, along with faster memory speed, making it the stronger desktop-replacement mini PC of the two.
Both run capable chips well suited to creative and office work, but the GT1 Mega Ultra 9's Intel Core Ultra 9 185H ships with quadruple the storage at 2TB against the M7 Ultra's 512GB, and its three-year warranty triples the M7 Ultra's coverage. The M7 Ultra answers only with a lower price, which is still a real factor if budget matters more than storage headroom. Both share 32GB of memory and similar connectivity, so this comes down to whether you need the extra storage and warranty length. Buyers who want more storage and longer support should choose the Geekom GT1 Mega Ultra 9; buyers who want the lower entry price should pick the GMKtec NucBox M7 Ultra.
