Aqara Motion Sensor P1 is the better buy of these two, and the cheaper one.

Ring Alarm Motion Detector is the better rated sensor and built for security: a Z-Wave sensor for a Ring Alarm base station with three sensitivity levels, 7.6 m of range and a pet tolerance its owners praise, plus direct Alexa support. Both are indoor sensors with a one-year warranty and Home Assistant support. Choose the Ring if you own a Ring Alarm, and the Aqara for lighting and automations on a Zigbee or Aqara setup.

Owners of both sensors describe quick pairing and detection that responds fast when someone walks past. Aqara Motion Sensor P1 owners like how tiny it is, the accurate light sensor, the configurable timeout and pairing straight to Home Assistant without an Aqara hub, but they find the real range much shorter than rated, see slow movement slip past it, note that its timer does not reset while someone stays in the room and dislike having to pry it open to change batteries.
