Its dock hot-washes and dries the mop and holds a 5L water tank, and the robot works with Apple Home, SmartThings, Home Assistant, Alexa and Google Home. The Dreame D20 Pro Plus is the more affordable choice and wins on endurance: 285 minutes per charge against 200, a 5L dock bag and three years of warranty against one, but it mops with a simple trailing pad. Pick the Narwal Flow to mop hard floors properly, and the Dreame D20 Pro Plus for long, low-maintenance vacuuming.

What the differences mean

Mopping

The Narwal Flow scrubs with a track mop that rinses itself as it goes, then the dock washes and dries it and lifts it over rugs. The Dreame D20 Pro Plus uses a trailing pad with no washing, drying or lifting.

Suction

22000Pa on the Narwal Flow against 13000Pa on the Dreame D20 Pro Plus. On paper the Narwal pulls harder, though its owners still find some carpet types a weak spot.

Runtime

285 minutes on the Dreame against 200 on the Narwal. Both cover a typical home; the Dreame leaves more margin in a very large one.

Smart home

Both work with Alexa, Google Home and Home Assistant. The Narwal Flow adds Apple Home, SmartThings and Matter, plus 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Warranty

Three years on the Dreame D20 Pro Plus against one on the Narwal Flow.

What owners say

Owners of both robots praise mapping and pet hair pickup, and both groups describe quiet runs. Dreame D20 Pro Plus owners single out first-run room detection across mixed floors and a dust bag that lasts months, but their reports on suction and carpet contradict each other, and some mention bags jamming and charging failures. Narwal Flow owners are led by the mop, describing the first robot that washes the floor instead of spreading dirty water, plus runtime that finishes whole houses and support that swaps parts without a fight, while carpet is their recurring complaint, from false carpet detection to certain piles never getting clean.
