Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete vs iRobot Roomba 105X

The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete is the winner here, taking every tracked category including rating, warranty, battery life, integrations, and mopping with self-emptying. The iRobot Roomba 105X does not win a single tracked category in this comparison, including price, since no pricing is listed for the Dreame in this catalog to compare against.

The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete mops as well as vacuums, with automatic mop washing and drying handled by its dock, plus self-emptying so the onboard bin never has to be cleared by hand. The iRobot Roomba 105X is vacuum-only: it does not mop, does not support detergent, and has no self-emptying dock, so its bin has to be emptied manually.

The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete runs for about 242 minutes per charge and comes with a three-year warranty, compared to about 120 minutes and a one-year warranty on the iRobot Roomba 105X. That gives the Dreame more runway for larger homes and longer coverage if anything goes wrong with the unit.

The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete supports more integrations overall, including Google Home, Alexa and Home Assistant today, with Matter and Apple Home promised in a future software update. The iRobot Roomba 105X supports Google Home, Alexa and IFTTT, but not Apple HomeKit, Home Assistant or Matter.

Buyers who want the most complete robot vacuum experience, mopping and vacuuming in one machine, a self-emptying and self-washing dock, longer battery life, more integrations and a longer warranty, should buy the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete. It suits homes that want an almost hands-off routine and are willing to pay a premium for it.

Buyers who want the simplest, most affordable way into mapped, room-specific vacuuming, and do not need mopping, a self-emptying dock or the longest warranty, can still reasonably choose the iRobot Roomba 105X. It remains a straightforward vacuum-only robot for daily maintenance cleaning, even though it does not win a single tracked category against the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete in this comparison.
