The Roomba 705X answers with the lone connectivity win, adding 5GHz WiFi that the Dreame does not support, and its Apple HomeKit with Siri voice control already works today, while the Dreame's equivalent support is promised through a future software update rather than available now. Both robots run LiDAR navigation with the full set of obstacle and cliff detection, multi-room mapping and no-go zones, and both automate mopping completely, washing and drying their own mop pads and emptying their bins at the dock without help. Neither has a directly comparable suction figure either, since the Roomba 705X does not publish a Pa rating at all. Choose the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete for a longer runtime and warranty, or the iRobot Roomba 705X if 5GHz WiFi and ready-to-use Apple HomeKit and Siri support matter more to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which is better overall: Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete or iRobot Roomba 705X?

It is close, but the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete edges ahead on battery life and warranty, the only two categories where the two robots actually differ in the generator's comparison. Everything else, from mop automation to navigation, is effectively tied.

What is the biggest difference between the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete and the iRobot Roomba 705X?

Connectivity and Apple support. The iRobot Roomba 705X adds 5GHz WiFi and already works with Apple HomeKit and Siri today, while the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete's Apple Home support is announced for a future update rather than available now.

Can I compare suction power between the two?

Not directly. The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete publishes its suction spec, but the iRobot Roomba 705X does not list a Pa figure at all, so the two cannot be compared on paper for raw suction.

Do both robots wash and dry their own mop pads?

Yes. Both the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete and the iRobot Roomba 705X have docks that wash and dry the mop pads with hot water and empty the dustbin automatically, so neither needs manual mop maintenance.

Who should buy the iRobot Roomba 705X?

Choose the iRobot Roomba 705X if you want 5GHz WiFi and Apple HomeKit with Siri voice control working right now, without waiting on a promised software update.

Who should buy the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete?

Choose the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete if a longer battery life and a longer warranty matter more to you than 5GHz WiFi or having Apple HomeKit support available today.
