Ecovacs Deebot T50 Omni Review: Ultra-Slim Body With a Full Omni Station

The verdict

The T50 Omni is built around clearance. At 3.19 in tall with a body measuring 352 x 351 x 81 mm, it fits under sofas, beds and kick plates that stop taller robots, while still carrying 15,000 Pa of suction, ZeroTangle 2.0 anti-tangle brushes and TruEdge edge cleaning. The Omni station empties the dustbin, washes the mop pads with hot water, air-dries them and refills the 4 L clean water tank, with auto detergent dispensing. Runtime is rated at 200 minutes. This review is based on the published specification, since the listing has too few attributable owner reviews to summarise fairly.

Best for
  • Homes with low-clearance furniture
  • Hard floors with rugs
  • Buyers wanting a full Omni station at mid price
  • Pet owners needing anti-tangle brushes

Pros

  • 3.19 in ultra-slim body reaches under low furniture
  • 15,000 Pa suction with ZeroTangle 2.0 brushes
  • Full Omni station with hot-water washing and air drying
  • 4 L clean water tank and auto detergent dispensing
  • TruEdge adaptive edge mopping

Cons

  • No Matter, Apple Home or SmartThings support
  • Lower suction than the T50 MAX PRO Omni
  • Slim body limits onboard dustbin volume
  • 2.4 GHz WiFi only
  • Too few attributable owner reviews to assess reliability

Who is the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Omni for?

If your main frustration is a robot that cannot get under the furniture where dust actually collects, this is the answer in Ecovacs' line-up. The 3.19 in body is among the slimmest available, and it does not trade away the station: emptying, hot-water pad washing, air drying, tank refilling and detergent dispensing are all included. It suits apartments and mid-size homes with a mix of hard floor and rugs.

What the specification offers

Fifteen thousand Pa of suction is ample for hard floors and low-pile carpet, and ZeroTangle 2.0 targets the long-hair wrapping that defeats older brush designs. TruEdge adaptive edge mopping extends the pad toward baseboards, and the mops lift automatically when carpet is detected. Navigation is LiDAR-based with obstacle and cliff detection, multi-floor mapping and no-go zones, and the 4 L clean water tank keeps refills infrequent.

Where the compromises are

The slim body limits internal dustbin volume compared with taller robots, and this model has no Matter, Apple Home or SmartThings support, so integration is limited to Alexa, Google Home and the Ecovacs app. Suction sits below the T50 MAX PRO's 18,500 Pa. Connectivity is 2.4 GHz WiFi only.

How it fits the range

Within the T50 family this is the slim, standard-suction option, with the MAX PRO adding suction, an 18 mm mop lift and Matter. If clearance is your constraint and you do not need Matter, the T50 Omni covers the same core automation for less.

Frequently asked questions

How slim is the T50 Omni?

The robot body is 3.19 in (81 mm) tall, measuring 352 x 351 x 81 mm, which lets it clean under most sofas, beds and cabinet kick plates.

Does the station wash the mop pads?

Yes. It empties the dustbin, washes the pads with hot water, dries them with air and refills the robot's water tank from a 4 L supply.

Does it lift the mops for carpet?

Yes, the mops lift automatically when carpet is detected so the carpet stays dry while the robot vacuums.

What is the difference from the T50 MAX PRO Omni?

The MAX PRO adds higher suction at 18,500 Pa, an 18 mm mop lift and Matter support. The T50 Omni is the slimmer standard-suction version.

Why is this review based on specifications?

The listing has too few reviews attributable to this specific model to summarise owner experience fairly, so the review is built from the verified specification instead.
