Owners of the iRobot Roomba Max 705 Combo report a split experience. Many praise the LiDAR mapping and zone drawing, the smooth obstacle avoidance and a mop that reaches edges and leaves floors nearly dry, with the AutoWash dock washing, drying and dosing detergent on its own. A large share, though, hit failures within weeks: false bin and dirty-water-tank errors, leaking docks and jobs that never finish, alongside a mop that streaks and an app that breaks schedules. Initial Wi-Fi setup drew complaints too, with the smoothest results on a 2.4 GHz connection. Several owners returned the unit, in some cases for a rival brand.
