The GT-BE98 Pro is Asus's quad-band flagship, with two separate 6 GHz radios, eight external antennas, a roughly 30 Gbps combined rating and seven ports including two 10G and four 2.5G connections with link aggregation, plus dedicated ROG gaming tools. The RT-BE58U sticks to dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with no 6 GHz band, a 3.6 Gbps ceiling and a simpler five-port layout, but it still carries the same full VPN suite, AiMesh support and command-line access, and both routers share an identical 3-year warranty. Buyers chasing maximum throughput, multi-gig wiring or dedicated gaming tools should still spend up for the Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro; anyone who wants dependable Wi-Fi 7 and Asus's software depth without flagship pricing gets there just as well with the Asus RT-BE58U.
