Both need something. SwitchBot Meter Pro works over Bluetooth alone but needs a SwitchBot Hub for Wi-Fi, remote alerts, voice assistants and Matter. Sonoff LCD Smart Temperature Humidity Sensor needs a Zigbee coordinator, which can be Home Assistant, SmartThings or a generic dongle you may already own.
