The Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) comes out ahead overall with its touchscreen, motion and ambient-light sensors, Thread border router support, and a longer warranty. The Amazon Echo Studio still holds a higher owner rating and Zigbee coordinator support.

The Nest Hub (2nd Gen) has a 7-inch touchscreen for recipes, photos, and doorbell camera feeds, while the Echo Studio has no screen at all and focuses purely on audio and voice control.

Only the Amazon Echo Studio works as a Zigbee coordinator. The Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) bridges Matter and acts as a Thread border router, but it does not coordinate Zigbee devices directly.

Neither has a built-in camera. The Nest Hub (2nd Gen) can display footage from a separately connected Nest or Google Home compatible camera or doorbell, but it does not have one built in, and the Echo Studio has no camera support at all.
